Stockton Model Railroad Club Open House (San Joaquin Fairgrounds - Bldg1)

The Tidewater Southern Model Railroad Club in Stockton, California models many of the local landmarks in San Joaquin County that were along the orginal Tidewater Southern Railway here in the Central Valley of California. We are a congenial group that meets every Thursday 2:30PM-7:30PM and Saturday 10AM-3PM at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds. Use our web site www.twsmrc.com to get instructions on how to get there and also to learn about us. We have layouts in HO and N scales. We have classes to teach you the basics of model railroading which is one of the largest hobby groups in the world. We welcome visitors anytime during our open hours. Also, our building is climate controlled and a nice place to visit in the Summer. We accommodate junior members under the auspices of a parent. We also have women members who bring unique skills.
